Code of Conduct

Räpina Paberivabrik AS is committed to sustainability, high standards of business ethics, and integrity. We expect our suppliers to uphold the same values. All suppliers are required to comply with the requirements outlined in this Code of Conduct. If necessary, additional standards may be agreed upon in the supply agreement.​

Laws and Regulations
Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of their country of operation.​

Business Ethics and Integrity

  • All forms of corruption and bribery are strictly prohibited.
  • Employees must not offer or accept gifts or payments that could be construed as bribes.
  • Any offer or demand for a bribe must be refused and reported to management immediately.​

Labor Rights

  • Forced labor, including the coercion of temporary workers, is prohibited.
  • Child labor in any form is not permitted.
  • Employees' dignity, privacy, and personal rights must be respected. Physical, sexual, psychological, or verbal abuse is prohibited.​

Compensation and Working Conditions

  • Wages and benefits must meet or exceed the legal minimum standards.
  • Working hours must comply with applicable laws and industry standards.​

Equal Treatment
All employees must be treated equally, regardless of race, nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, political beliefs, disability, or social background. Employment decisions should be based solely on qualifications and abilities.​

Health and Safety
Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment and, if necessary, safe and healthy accommodations, in compliance with local laws.​

Freedom of Association
Suppliers must respect employees' legal rights to join trade unions and engage in collective bargaining.​

Environmental Responsibility
Suppliers must adhere to environmental laws and implement sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, continually working to minimize environmental impact.​

Product Safety and Quality
Products and services must meet the quality and safety standards specified in contracts and legal requirements. Suppliers must:​

  • Manage hygiene and safety risks throughout the supply chain.
  • Use raw materials of known origin and ensure traceability.
  • Ensure products are safe for intended use by people and the environment.​

Supply Chain
Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that all subcontractors acknowledge and adhere to this Code of Conduct.​
